While reading Cryptonomicon by Neal Stephenson, I was inspired by the character who keeps composing Haikus in his head, and as I was also reverse-engineering a file format or piece of software (I forget what exactly) on my Palm at the time whilst travelling to work on the London Underground, I came up with this. It's not very good, but then neither was the first attempt of the dude in the book. Maybe I'll write more one day ...

Sea fills: men, trains, bits
Hacker floats, oblivious;
His Pilot leads him.
