Amongst many other things, I'm a self-confessed geek.
The best computer-oriented creations out there are sometimes so unbelievably clever as to make them breathtakingly beautiful; in fact when you consider that the only real reasons some of them exist are the enjoyment of creating and appreciating them, perhaps they even become worthy of being called art.

As a wise person once said (I think it was Beavis, or Butthead), "you gotta have the right tool for the job". Here are some tools I like.
I use two of these Kinesis Contoured
Essential keyboards (one at work, one at home). Not only
have they saved both my careers from RSI, but
they're much more comfortable and convenient to use. 6 keys on
each thumb! Workrave (and
previously xwrits) helps
ensure I take regular breaks from typing.

compare the typing efficiency of various keyboard layouts.
